Jenn Winquist

About Me

Hello! My name is Jenn Winquist, and I am the new counselor at CWA.

I grew up in Beaverton and attended Beaverton High School, where my mom was a math teacher! While a student there, I participated in Student Government, Volleyball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Choir. In search of sunshine, I moved to Southern California to attend Azusa Pacific University, where I majored in Sociology and Christian Ministries. I came back to Portland for graduate school and attended Lewis & Clark College, where I earned my M.Ed. in School Counseling. I spent nearly 18 years at a high school in Beaverton, where I served many different roles as a caseload counselor, counseling department chair, AVID coordinator, AP Coordinator, Equity Team leader, and College & Career Readiness Counselor. Most recently I was a high school counselor at a full-time online school. I’m excited to bring my backgrounds of in-person and online schools to CWA!

I have two little ones at home: Odyssey (5) is in Kindergarten and enjoys soccer. Trekker (8, nonbinary) is in 2nd grade and enjoys running club and soccer.
