About Me

I am very excited to begin my 20th year teaching with the Clackamas Web Academy and my 30th in the district. I strongly believe that our program offers the best home education for your child!

My teaching experience began in 1993 where I spent four years at McLoughlin Middle School(which is now Aldercreek Middle School). I then transferred to Happy Valley Elementary where I taught sixth grade for seven years. In 2004, after the birth of my second daughter, I was thrilled to join the staff of Clackamas Web Academy. I am well versed in the requirements of the state of Oregon and absolutely love working with middle school students.

In my spare time I am active in community theater performing in roughly 12 shows in the last 10 years. I have also been an extra on the TV show Grimm as well as The Librarians. 

On a personal note, I am a proud mom to two beautiful daughters. My oldest, Kelley, is almost 23 and is a film student at the University of Oregon (go Ducks). My youngest, Allie, is 19 and is a sophomore at Oregon State University  and is also a photographer for the wrestling and football teams. We are definitely a house divided! 

I look forward to working with you all this year and truly believe that the Clackamas Web Academy has the best staff around!
