Nadia Frank

Here is a little bit about my background and professional experience. I was born and raised  in Ukraine. Prior to immigrating to the United States, I lived in Riga, Latvia, where I attended a university.  I graduated from Portland State University summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree, where I also completed the Bilingual Teacher Pathway Graduate Program.  Then later, after teaching Social Studies and English Language Development at the secondary level, I decided to pursue a counseling career. I received my Master's in School Counseling from Lewis and Clark College. This is my 31st year working in the public school education system and 15th at CWA.  As a counselor,  I truly enjoy supporting our CWA students/families and helping students  reach their full potential.  Outside of work, I  like to spend time with my family and friends and our sweet Frenchie Bella. Children have always been my biggest passion in life; we enjoy  playing board games together, hiking and camping. I also love reading, meeting new people and hearing their life stories. I am fluent in three languages, so traveling internationally and experiencing different cultures have been a huge blessing in my life.
