About Me
My name is Alyss Broderick and I am a science teacher. I have taught at Multnomah County Outdoor School, OMSI, Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District, Crater Lake National Park, Beaverton School District, Trackers Earth and now at Clackamas Web Academy. I love sharing my excitement for the natural world and helping other people connect to what makes them say "wow".
When I'm not a school teacher, I enjoy hiking with my dog, cooking delicious food, growing my garden and watching nerdy YouTube videos. I grew up in Portland and went to Southern Oregon University for my undergraduate degree in geology and environmental studies. I have been to 18 national parks, 35 states, all 36 counties in Oregon and Scotland.
