About Me
I love teaching at CWA, and have enjoyed being a part of our great school for six years! :) Before I came to CWA, I substitute taught in Hawaii and in the North Clackamas School District, until my own children were all in school. I loved the time being home when they were little, and now, the chance to be in the "classroom" full-time is so rewarding! I knew I wanted to teach at CWA, when I made the decision to teach full-time! It is a unique school with an awesome group of students and families!
I earned my Master's degree from Concordia University, and wanted to be a teacher since I was in elementary school. The best part of teaching school is getting to know each of my students and watching them work through hard things! Students are capable of more than they sometimes know, and I love being a part of the learning process.
My favorite things to do in my free time, are traveling with my family, camping, rafting, cooking, gardening, and watching sports! I love Thai food, and have recently enjoyed making up Thai recipes and trying them out on my family! I make a yummy peanut sauce. My favorite sport is soccer, and played it for many years, but I am a big Blazer fan, too!!
I look forward to getting to know each of you better throughout the school year! :))
